This is a short quick tips guide by Rachel Stinson - Have a look and maybe you will get a little insight from her into choosing your wedding photographer

Choosing The "Right" Photographer -9 Promising Tips

When it comes to hiring a wedding photographer or a photographer any function and event, there are many things to consider. Despite how easy it sounds, hiring a photographer is an intricate process.

Choosing The "Right" Photographer -9 Promising Tips

While choosing a photographer there are many things that you need to take care of, and here are some tips to help youselect the best photographer:

  1. Ask for a Portfolio: Whenever you come in contact with the photographer, ask for their current portfolio. A photographer’s portfolio will speak volumes about their work and quality of their pictures more than their resume.
  2. Research:Always remember to research the photographer. Remember that you won’t simply stumble upon a good photographer by chance. Research the web and ask your family and friends for a good photographer.
  3. Timing:Always remember that when it comes to hiring a wedding photographer, do it beforehand. Do not wait until the wedding dresses are stitched and ready to be worn. This will save you a lot of last-minute stress.
  4. Delivery of the Photographs:There is no right answer for the perfect time to have your photographs delivered to you. However, this question is a necessary one. It pays to know when you can expect your photographs. Make sure the timeline for the delivery of photographs is justified.
  5. Have an open mind: When you look for a photographer, remember that you won’t find one in the way you expect them to be. Have an open mind when you meet with the photographers, there’s a high chance that the shabbiest looking candidate could be the one for you.
  6. Does your Photographer have referrals? Most people forget to ask this question. It pays to check the referrals. Check on the photographer’s Facebook page, their Yelp and LinkedIn pages to have an idea.
  7. What will your package include:Whether itis an event orany other function, ask if the photographer will bring all necessary items for the shoot or there are some things you will need to purchase on your own? Make sure that you do this before your date of the shoot arrives so that you can shop for the necessary items via online shoppingor by other means.
  8. Pay: It is advised that you decide the payment beforehand. Payment and payment terms should be decided before the photographer begins the job.
  9. Tell the Photographer what you need:Before the photographer begins the job, spell out what you need. Give them a clear understanding of what kind of images you are expecting out of them for the best results.

Getting the perfect pictures not only requires you to hire a good photographerbut also demands communication.

"Every woman can become the true protagonist of her own story by choosing from among a variety of albums with a great aesthetic sensibility, interpreted in four different ways that represent the modern woman: “Silk Style,” “Flower Style,” “Denim Style” and “Gold Style.” Because every woman is unique and deserves a unique album that truly knows how to represent the essence of her personality."

To see more information about Album Epoca's new range of albums based on these 4 styles - click on the photo cover of Vogue Italy Magazine Image and a PDF of the full brochure will automatically download to your PC or Laptop, Tablet or Phone. I am certain that there is an album in this brochure that you will absolutely adore and want to own. In my view there is no better way to show your precious wedding day images than in a contemporary album by Album Epoca.

This brochure is about style, photography and hand craftsmanship and was created by Vogue Italia for Album Epoca.

My Wedding Images - Why I use Album Epoca in Italy for my Wedding Storybook Albums

February 22, 2018  •  Leave a Comment

I supply Wedding Storybook Albums from the fabulous Italian company Album Epoca (AE). I love these albums and for me they are the prefect way to display my wedding images in hand crafted books that have a beautiful contemporary style.

I was in Italy last November for an AE photographers academy and went to Rimini to see how these albums were made - I was blown away by the quality of the print and bind process, and blown away even further by how many hands each album goes through before it is completed (23 in all, now that’s what I call hand crafted). Click this link to see a video showing each step in the making of these hand crafted albums https://vimeo.com/66746496  It’s not short, but well worth a look if you want to see how your hand crafted wedding album is created.

While in Italy I was one of the first photographers to see AE’s new range of wedding album covers, which had just been released. The new  covers were fabulous and I immediately ordered two samples and had these on display at the recent Bride of the Year Show at the RDS in Dublin in January. These new covers are an addition to the already exceptional range of covers produced by AE and the reaction to these has been fantastic. I will be ordering more samples over the coming months for my clients to see.

In concept terms, these new albums were born to address the different styles of contemporary women. AE identified 4 styles of women:

Silk Style ", a timeless classic; " Flower Style ", from playful romanticism; " Denim Style ", with essential aesthetics; " Gold Style", with surprising luxury. These styles led the research of materials, styles and combinations aimed to create the perfect album for every type of customer.

The world of fashion design, of furnishings and ‘Crafts - Made in Italy’ were a great influence during the development of these new covers, essentially made to be part of people’s lives and homes, as a piece of design made to be preserved and exposed.

I love this new range of album covers – they really are unique and I am certain there is a cover to suit your individual style.

Here are some more images of the new range of album covers. I think you will see how contemporary they are and the italian craft influence. I am sure you will agree they are very beautiful, very unique and very different to what you will see elsewhere.

Let me know what you think of this new range of albums? If you want find out more about AE and the new range of album covers and how great this company is just click this link for lots more information. https://www.albumepoca.com/en/professional-photographic-albums/
