My Wedding Images - Why I use Album Epoca in Italy for my Wedding Storybook Albums

I supply Wedding Storybook Albums from the fabulous Italian company Album Epoca (AE). I love these albums and for me they are the prefect way to display my wedding images in hand crafted books that have a beautiful contemporary style.

I was in Italy last November for an AE photographers academy and went to Rimini to see how these albums were made - I was blown away by the quality of the print and bind process, and blown away even further by how many hands each album goes through before it is completed (23 in all, now that’s what I call hand crafted). Click this link to see a video showing each step in the making of these hand crafted albums https://vimeo.com/66746496  It’s not short, but well worth a look if you want to see how your hand crafted wedding album is created.

While in Italy I was one of the first photographers to see AE’s new range of wedding album covers, which had just been released. The new  covers were fabulous and I immediately ordered two samples and had these on display at the recent Bride of the Year Show at the RDS in Dublin in January. These new covers are an addition to the already exceptional range of covers produced by AE and the reaction to these has been fantastic. I will be ordering more samples over the coming months for my clients to see.

In concept terms, these new albums were born to address the different styles of contemporary women. AE identified 4 styles of women:

Silk Style ", a timeless classic; " Flower Style ", from playful romanticism; " Denim Style ", with essential aesthetics; " Gold Style", with surprising luxury. These styles led the research of materials, styles and combinations aimed to create the perfect album for every type of customer.

The world of fashion design, of furnishings and ‘Crafts - Made in Italy’ were a great influence during the development of these new covers, essentially made to be part of people’s lives and homes, as a piece of design made to be preserved and exposed.

I love this new range of album covers – they really are unique and I am certain there is a cover to suit your individual style.

Here are some more images of the new range of album covers. I think you will see how contemporary they are and the italian craft influence. I am sure you will agree they are very beautiful, very unique and very different to what you will see elsewhere.
